Caucasion
Chalk
Circle was presented in McKenna Theatre, a procenium style venue, with
a strong sense of Brechtian style. The first two rows of seating were
removed for the extension off the stage front. The wings and upstage
area were completely exposed and the set itself was all rough lumber.
The projection above the stage was originally presented as a series of
line
drawings as in the model, however, upon review, the director chose the
series of sepia toned photographs instead.
