The Illusion

SUNY New Paltz, NY
Parker Theatre 2006
Assistant Scenic Design & Charge Artist

The Illusion, directed by John Wade, recieved praise for its unusual use of projection and scrim. Additionally, the marble tiles contained mica powder which produced a wonderfully reflective surface for the projected scenery and outstanding lighting design to play upon.

Due to the intricate moulding and masks on the set, the production model was crafted in 1/2 inch scale instead of our usual 1/4 inch. The model on the right was lit and displayed using a *Lightbox* LED lighting console during our hosting of the 2005-2006 KCACTF Region II Festival at SUNY New Paltz.
